Bob "Bunky" and Teresa "Blinky" Gretton

Teresa and Bob Gretton have been clowning as a team for over thirty years and just recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.  Bob (“Bunky”) is the 2009 COAI International Clown of the Year and Teresa (“Blondi/Blinky”) has graced the board of COAI since 1996 as secretary.

They have been working clowns most of their professional career.  They continue to entertain through birthday parties, picnics, school shows, corporate events, stage shows, and wherever you can find a venue for clowning—even weddings and funerals.   They have been educating for many years at conventions, seminars, camps, and alley meetings.  Each year they run week-long junior joey camps at their local colleges inspiring children to experience the world of clowning and performance.  They became popular television personalities on cable television from 1982 – 1988 when they created a children’s show, “Clowning Around with Bunky.”   Bob serves as the new president of Red Nose Response (RNR), a clown organization that spreads comic relief during times of disaster and crisis.  The zany couple is also employed part time with the American Red Cross, Southern Maryland Chapter.  Bob is the volunteer coordinator teaching Red Cross classes and Teresa is the supervisor of the call center which fields national calls from those affected by disasters.
