Bo Brown
Bo Brown is from
Greenville, SC and is a full time Funeral Director/Embalmer. He started
clowning in 1977 at the age of 18 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.
He clowned at local events in and around Greenville for the next 10
years. In 1987 he decided to step away from clowning and hung up his
shoes, but as God and His purpose would have it, He brought clowning back
into his life in the spring of 2003. At that time God introduced Bo to
“Gospel Clowning”, WOW he thought, what a wonderful way to share God’s
love and the plan of salvation with others. So after a 16 year sabbatical
he now serves the Lord in the crazy world of clown. Bo will tell you, now
he gets to do in church what he used to get whippings for, “go figure”.
