Chris Burton

Chris Burton has been a clown all of his life, but has just explored it professionally in the last few years. He focuses most of his attention and training on Christian clown ministry, although he performs for birthday parties, school shows, and spent 4 summers clowning for a professional baseball team. His clown name “PJ” actually derives from a bad experience. In 1998, Chris lost his mother unexpectedly, it was then that “PJ” ,which stands for “Praise Jesus” ,was born, because he knows that’s what his mother is doing. During his clowning through ministry God has taken him to many places, including Jamaica and Canada. He lives by the motto, “Let Go, and Let God”.

CLASSES

Skits for Worship: Have you ever been asked to perform a skit for a worship service that isn’t too “funny”?  This class will show you some skits we have used over the last few years that are the perfect fit for a worship service. Some we have seen done and taken and adapted them to our characters, and some we have written. So come along and join us, take notes, and steal our material. Just remember, don’t try to copy it, just get the idea.

Skits. Oldies but Goodies: Come and join us as we take you back and show you some of the oldies that still get laughs today. We will teach you such skits as, “The Hamburger Stand”, “Ring, ring”, “Stagecoach”, and others until we run out of time.

They will also be assisting with the Basic Clown Track daily.
