BEN AND CHRISTINE CHRISTENSEN
Ben Christensen has performed all over the USA, both with his one-man-show, and as a part of various productions, including time spent with the Circus Hall of Fame and the LOL Show. Hetook first place in a diabolo (chinese yo-yo) competition at the MONDO, took gold at a World Clown Association convention and walked away with the trophy at the talent competition for the International Fellowship of Christian Magicians. In 2013, he was named “Master Clown” by the World Clown Association at a conference in Malaysia. He got his BA in Children’s Ministry from North Central University. Growing up in a family of clowns, it was not unusual to find Ben in the backyard or in the basement juggling, practicing magic tricks, or working on a new clown routine. Ben has successfully made the transition to the stage where he has shared his talents with thousands.
Ben is married to Christine, a professional mime. Christine started performing mime at the age of 13 as a member of Silent Light, based out of Grand Rapids, MI. She has appeared in a number of productions at Master Arts Theater, where she often returns to run mime classes as a part of their summer theatre intensive. Christine has also worked for Turning Pointe, a Christian ballet school in Holland, MI. She has extensive experience in stage managing, mime and acting. She worked with PUSH Physical Theatre for three years in New York where she and Ben first met and were married.
